I was just in the middle of swapping out wastegate hoses when I noticed the grease in the bov was getting a little dark and crusty. Is cleaning and changing the grease a part of maitenance for these? Thx in advance.

Yea, I don't know how often this should be done. Use Mobil 1 grease.
