Getting tired of waiting for the MSP...

HI everybody,

I've only been waiting for the MSP for a month and I'm getting sick of my dealer telling me that they have no new new shipment information. Even Mazda and mazdaspeed are pretty much clueless. I really don't understand how a company has no information on the release of their own car (I mean I would understand it if I asked them about a Toyota car...). Anyways, Does anybody here know when they're going to release the rest of the MSps (esp. Spicy orange)? Last I heard they only released 125 in the US.

Right Now, I'm so tempted to take back my deposit and get a Volkswagen GTI instead. What's the pros/cons of this car vs the MSP?

GTI suspension is soft, soft, soft.

And, at least in Canada, the MSP is cheaper by about a grand than the GTI, if you upgrade to the 17's, which you have to do cause the 16's look like ass.

I have had a deposit since july and am getting really anxious as well but it is comparisons like those that have helped me keep the faith.

I was talking with my local dealer last week and he continues to say they have been told they are getting 2 per month for a total of 12 MSPS. They haven't gotten the first one yet as of 12/23. Where are you on your dealer's waiting list? This might help you figure out how long your wait is. Jim

I guess you simply don't deserve to get the MSP if you're soooo mad already for waiting for 1 month. Guess what? I have been waiting since April 22... and that's like 8 months and 1 week.

I don't know why.....but VW's just bore me. Plain vanilla. I mean they are nice cars, well built, and some perform really nice, but they just don't excite me. I can't really explain it.
