bose bass

anyone know how to remove the bose sub from a 04 m6? a friend of mine is trying to get it out and i was trying to help with no luck...?

Is it a hatch or sedan? Because in the hatch models it's just a wire that you unplug and unbolt the unit since it sits on top of the spare tire.

If it's the sedan, you first have to remove the rear deck covering. Push pins and a little wiggling and it out, then there is 4 hex head screws holding it in. Be careful not to scratch the rear window glass tho.
