Have we found a GOOD strut bar for us 3rd Genners yet? More specifically, the triple-tube design? I know of no other place other than CP Racing that offers that kind of bar and I hear so-so things about it. What happened to the triple-tube design strut bar that supposedly Greddy was developing? Or how about the one that one of the forum members was developing?

Go with the P5/MP3/MSP Bar it fits, just requires a little shimming on a 1.6L
u can always go with autoexe. thats how cp racing got the idea. only $411. as far as greddy making products for our car, dont hold your breath.

Im probably going to go with the P5/MP3/MSP bar. I haven't seen anything else that really catches my eye. I saw a couple of the bars at the Daytona meet on Saturday and it looks very nice. Looks good in the engine bay and Im sure the performance aspect of it is just as nice. Plus Im getting a good deal on one from JONBOY so I can't pass it up. Thanks for the recommendation Negatize!!

I have a Strut Tower Brace made by CP Racing& Design. Very happy with it and he custom made it for my 99 1.6L car. I did notice a slight difference in stiffness...hard to explain though (sort of better steering response).
Just to let you know I'm getting the Lower Tie Brace installed sometime this weekend. Will take pic's and post if you guys are interested.

Im buying the red Protege5 bar from JONBOY688 for like 90.00 shipped. It goes with the color scheme I have going on under my hood. Plus its a genuine Mazda part and is supposed to have no problems with fitment. Oh, its also a bit cheaper than the CP Racing one.
