hey, i dont have much knowledge with tuning cars but i was just wondering if putting a cold air intake on the protege is a worthy expense of money and time? like the pros and cons, and if its just worth the effort

its worth it if ou want to get more sound out of your engine that maes you feel good abot it it also helps with the breathing though you may have to adjust the idle in some cases do to the easy breathing but the only other thing i could think of is the fact that water if high enough will mess your car up bad and if you plan on going turbo you my have wasted some money. other than that they are expensive if you by name brand but if you want you can always go ebay for the easy and cost effective way.

k and n typhoon all the way, but it's a little pricey(www.vividracing.com has it for $219). think about it this way, you get a cai and sri together, and you get extra brackets for mounting the intake to the chassis. also, you get great customer service from k and n.
