it cost me i think like 600 to get my whole car painted...i painted it during thanks giving, so they had like a discount thingy...the paint job done to my car is kinda crappy but i really don't care....anyways, the kit for you car isn't all that bad...i bought my bumper for 400 something and side and rear skirt for 500 something...total like 900 something...i bought them at separate time so it didn't seem that much..hehe...i don't regret it tho...i love my car

ill maybe try to finish my custom grill because with the bumper, the grill doesn't fit well and have some gap so i need to finish the "construction" of one i have in my house

hold on...let me take my spare 17" rim out the trunk, and my 4 17"s and put on my steelies, get some premium fuel, and install this SLS mount when ever it comes, and buy a header.

Its actually around 90hp.

I have the adjustable endlinks..but they dont look like those ones. Where did you get those? I bought mine from AWR, but they came with my 21.55mm rear sway bar.

It helps a little, but really without the sway bar...its not a huge help, but its better than stock..so I guess it helps some. All I know, is when I take sharp corners in my car with the sway bar and end links on...my back tire comes off the ground if I'm going faster than about 25mph while taking a 90degree turn.

do you have a front sway bar? if not it would help! A LOT! The guy at gearhead garage told me that, he is offering a group buy, this is the 2nd day I have had them on my stock sway bar & there is no issues! check out the group buy link for more info. I am not the one selling them, just trying to help everyone out!

do you have a front sway bar? if not it would help! A LOT!


We all have a stock front sway bar, but based off what I was told by the owner of AWR there isn't a aftermarket sway bar made for the front of our cars, other than the MazdaSpeed one, but you can only buy it in a kit with the rear MS swaybar. I believe our front sway bars are stock like 24-25mm something like that. They do however make adjustable endlinks for the front factory sway bar.

They help in the sense that if u look at the stock ones they are very thin and flimsy. If you have thicker/stiffer endlinks they dont flex as much. Like the stock sway bar is thin as a damn pencil. But the thicker one holds the struts very firmly. If you take the stock one and try to bend it over your knee you can make it flex very easily, but with the 21.5mm you cant bend it at all or very little not enough to notice. If you will imagine for learning purposes....imagine your arms are like the end links, and the force from your arms, is the strut pushing down on end links and the thicker/stiffer sway bar doesnt allow the body to roll or have much flex while cornering.

Hope my backyard performance lesson helps you understand the endlink/sway bar set up a little better. It took me a while to figure it out, but its all science in a way.

Im not a big fan of the cars on grass with trees out the roof but the yard hadn't been mowed in a while and who don't like making their car look like its sitting on the ground? lol, I did get a few nice shots tho, was almost too bright out in a few pics, but im just glad my 5 year old paint is still so bright:) Oh, and the car isn't even polished or waxed in the pics, thats just fresh outa the wash lol.

D rock, i just installed my HP/Espelir/Racing beat/clunk kit setup.and you will not be disappointed. dropped the perfect height and the ride quality is very good. slightly stiffer than stock and with the racingbeat bar, it really tightens things up and sticks the car to the road.

good luck on the install. get new endlinks front and back, makes life easier.lol

i can send you the rest of an install kit - i bought the kit to replace my lights, and only used the lights - the rest of the kit (wiring, switch, relay, etc) is just sitting in a box in my basement.

dont know... I love the CTS-V, but a little $$$! I have had problems with the car lately... too low to get a taller tire, my check engine light just came on like 2 days ago, I don't know. I just got my car to where I LOVE it, but I am 27 & bought a house almost a year 1/2 ago in so cal, so no more $ to fix up cars. lol

I was looking at small SUV's, but have had really bad experience at all the local mazda dealers, so I willl never go back; mostly service issues w/ the warranty. I took out most aftermarket stuff to take the car to the dealer for the engine light.

I know I am jumping on getting rid of it, but in liek 10 months it is mine, and ohave no more payments, you can't beat that!

I hardly consider the Rav4 a "grown up" car, but it is a very nice small suv, and definitely quick for an suv. An owner on the Infiniti FX forums posted 1/4 mile times of 14.5 (boom06) . Its Toyota's fastest vehicle in there line up.

100% worth the money, and may I suggest you buy from Ken, hes a trusted guy and will help you with any problems you may run into, beware of any ebay stuff. If I recall correctly I did my header install before I got an intake, and I still noticed gains:)

I am not going for fast really, ever since I bought my house I need something I can drive w/o having to worry about ground clearance or driveways, etc. plus I need something w/ a little more room. I drove the RAV4 today & really liked it. It is not all too bad. I am looking at a fully loaded model, so I do not have to do any mods myself (thats the grown-up talking). But, whatever, a car is a car & hopefully someone can helpme by buying my protege!!!! Thanks for all the input from everyone!!!

The body shop had to change the adapter to hook the fogs up but they're wired just like the stock fogs...I'm gonna figure out how to wire them so I can have them on without the headlights. I LOVE the new look, man...thanks for all of the help!!! Now I have to get my side skirts painted and installed (and purchase the rear lip) and I'm set!!
