They are held on there by heavy duty double sided tape. Go check out the How-To section. There's a how-to for it in there. You don't really have to use the stuff the have in there but yea it is really easy. You just pull them off after soaking them with some kind of paint safe adhesive remover and then scrape the rest of the tape off. I used one of those keychain membership cards and it came off real well. It takes a while but it is worth it. All you do afterwards is clean the area real well and wax it and you'll never know it was there.

Not a problem. While you're at the how-to section, you can check out a bunch of little mods you can do for very cheap that will keep the mod bug away for a couple days at a time lol.

My first time at a go with a Sony DSLR. Eventhough its a good camera, i'm still sticking to Canon. Moving around settings with the Sony takes too much steps = taking too much time.

lol, thanks Damian. Im thinking TEIN s-tech with KYB-GR2. I just can afford msp struts or HP's. I also need to replace a bunch of other little things, mounts, boots, etc. My engine could use some work to but the good is i have a good cash flow right now. :)

Pretty simple if you're doing struts and springs at the same time.

4 14mm bolts on top, 2 17mm for the hub, 1 14mm endlink bolt, & a brake line clip then you pull the whole thing out. Same goes for the rear but there is only 3 bolts on top under neath the rear deck.

i did the msp suspension install today...it took me and a friend about 2 hours to do all 4 and that is with 6 years of buffalo road salt rust. it handles way better now.

ha yea fixed it in my garage i took some classes in highschool soimpretty decent with body work and painting. and since it is fiberglass i was thinkin about repaintin the stock dx bumper and coppin' one of those dx lips, but idk the bc2 is to sexy rightnow.:D

Ok. Here's my car. Only had it for the 2nd month now, I think. I love 'er! Very stock right now. Planning on that turbo kit so I can make it a sleeper until I can dig up some more funds to redo some the exterior.

yeah, it's the bumper. The paint came off of the bumper because it was painted shitty. It's not scratched - that's the primer underneath of the paint. Also: it's matte, not gloss like the rest of the car. (argh)

You'll also notice a dent, just above the passenger side door. The hood has a bit of deformation (very hard to photograph) and the wiper resesviour has a leak in it. I'm going to try and use a buddy's mightypuddy, although it gets really cold here (-40) so I might just be better off buying a new res. I don't think that epoxy can hold up to -40.

Haha. That's quite a bit. I know someone who got their truck painted for cheap via family, so I'm going to try and hint at the topic to see if I can get a deal. 3k+ is a bit much.

Doesn't matter how high I raise it, cars get stuck like crazy up here, and a bodykit + skirts makes getting unstuck just so much harder. Besides, we get ~6 months of winter/snow/slush, so it wouldn't be too fun.

Will those lights slide into my 02 ES, or does it take a bit of work to get them to fit right? I don't think I've seen a rearshot of your car, do you use stock tails?

then topped it off with 3 coats clearcoat.
still needs to be buffed. it looks kind of dull for now but it will be complete this week.

but it will be done by a shop when i get the car resprayed completely, so i was fearless

I got the referral from a coworker who had her jeep sprayed a classic Dodge (?) purple color for 1K. The paint looks fantastic. I'll try and snap some shots sometime. If he's being spraying for 25 years w/o advertisement, his work must be good to continue getting referrals over and over again. He has a primary/'real' job, this is just something he does on the side. I told him the mica paint is similar to metallic. I hope that's true, if not at least pricewise. He had never heard of it - unsurprising since it's sort of a mazda thing from what I've seen.

you could save some money by doing the prep work yourself but idk how good at that kinda stuff u are
my brother actually painted his whole car in a booth with OEM grade mazda paint(dupont) (Aurora Blue Mica from a MZ3) and the paint, clear, sealer, stirs, fliters, etc was 680 total
He would have been charged 2k+ from a shop so u see where the majority of the price comes in
but if he really does that good of a job for only 1k then go for it and let us know how it turns out
