Nope, it was wrecked by one of the two previous owners before me or as it as the p5 rad(which could be a upgrade), both fenders have been removed before, the chrome lights, but it appears to be the orig rad support so thats good(nothing on car fax).

Screws, yuck!! Mine are glued along the top, and one screw at the back, one at the front. Had to get the tops shaved on the inside so the doors didn't rub them. Also, I had 3 brackets made to secure it underneath, to the frame. They are hard as a rock, no movement in the skirts at all.

Well 1 to 10 I'd say like a 6 or 7 overall. It just has to do with the condition of the street. If you're on a taken care of street, no bounce but you get on one of those fucked up streets with different layers and shit, you bounce like a low-rider. I think you look good with what you got, maybe just a little more of a drop haha.

The H&R springs ride pretty smooth. i like it but i just don't like the drop. i would love it to be a bit lower. my car looks lower in the picture because of the angle.

I was doing 99% of the work on Bobby's and did 90% on JC's, but yeah.. I guess so. Bobby is the one who calls them that, and hes the only one of us with kids so... lol. They are blinding though, he was facing me in the parking lot about 10 yards from me and I couldn't even see the bugs on my windshield.



Not complaining though, I know I offered the work, and I love working on these cars and love knowing that I can help someone save money and be happy at the same time. I got a nice seafood dinner out of the deal too! :) Thanks again Josh!

Yah, not a fan of the wheels, tails, or decals. Other than that though very impresive with the engine swap. If I had to choose between all the body styles of the protege it would be that one. It has a meen stance and has a sweet JDM look to it. Good luck with your goal to 400 hp's (2thumbs). Hope you have taken precautionary measures in the tranny and internalls or you will join the zoom zoom boom! club. Do you have a performance mod list you could post up?

For sake of the beautiful ES, don't fudge up it with a body kit.

First, I speak from my own experiences, unless its made of polyurethane, don't buy a body kit. They're not nearly as perfect as stock body parts, don't even look as good as the rest of the car painted and crack super easy. You'll end up regretting it, wasting your money and it will slowly start to break off the car, piece by piece, over time.

Second, if you want to know about suspensions, look for a thread or make up a new one in the suspension area, we can't just be asking random questions in every thread or it would defeat the purpose now wouldn't it?

Third, nice ES, it looks really clean and taken care of. I wish I had rear disc brakes and a sunroof. lol.

No im not. lol. I had a carfax report done on it and it was a one person owner and I asked the car salesman who just traded it in and he told me it was a 65 year old woman lol. But that car is fucking slow. I guess protege's came out with 4.11s but fuck there aint no horsepower to pull the car. My mustang has 2.89s in it and does the 1/4 in 14 sec and the protege is like 17 sec. They need to made a six speed tranny for the protege to compensate for the gears. I do like 4000 rpms on the god damn freeway
