werid start up

has happened 3 times in tha last 5 days, when i started the car, idle would drop to 500-550 and stay there for about 20 seconds, the it would jump to 900 and balance out at 700

the first time i floored the gas while in neutral and it cured it instantly


what could it be? no cel has come on

bleh, that sounds weird....Does it happen all the time? that only happens when car is cold? or also when its warm? I might be wrong, but it might be the idle sensor...Dont take my word for it. Also, ever thought of cleaning the throttle body and EGR valve? That might fix the rough idle. Dunno what else to say dude.

take the intake off (whatever you have....stock or aftermarket) get a carburator & combustion cleaner. Any automotive store has it. (comes in a can) and its only about 2-3 bucks. Once you have your intake pipe off the throttle body, spray a bit right inside. Dont be afraid, hehe because C&C cleaner wont damage anything. Once you sprayed some, let it sit for about 5-10 seconds, then take a !!!CLEAN!!! rag (because once you will be done cleaning, the rag WILL be COMPLETELY black. Once you place a really nice looking rag in your hand, heh, start cleaning inside of the throttle body. Once it looks clean, open the butterfly by hand, spray the C&C cleaner on the rag and start cleaning behind the butterfly and the other side of it. You wont get ALL of the dirt out just for the simple fact of, YOUR HANDS ARE TOO FAT to reach through the throttle body hehehehhe. Once you're done cleaning, stand up, upwrap the rag (the one that was very clean and shiny 5 minutes before the cleaning started) stare at it, and start scratching your back of the head just because you are so amazed of how much dirt there was, heh. I just hope this will solve the problem....if not, try cleaning the EGR valve. Let me know how it goes

hehe, no problems! and as far as being fat, I think the only hands that would fit through the throttle body are hands of an infant, hehehe. I dont think you're one, are you? (rofl)
