One of my ES fogs was taken out by a rock and I bought a used one off a board member. Was going to take the other one out too and put Hyperwhites in both...

So I pulled out the goldish bolt.... the only one that seems to hold the bracket on... the fog light is loose now but I CANNOT pull the m'fucker out...

Any suggestions?

Manofmacg3? Did you pull yours out yet?

i think it just pulls out after you unbolt the nut on each fog...Ive installed the fogs on my LX a while ago and dont really remember the procedure already. I think there's only one bolt on each...dont take my word for it.

That's the thing.... it only looks like one bolt but I can't get them to pull out.

Nope... haven't yet. But From what i remember it is a pain. Try taking all the bolts out.. and it should slide out/pop out toward the front of the car. I honestly can't remember how I got mine out, but as soon as i get a chance to change out my one chipped one.. I'll let you know.

Well, you are right, there is only one bolt to remove - after that bolt is out, it just wiggles in it's spot. There is a little round black tab holding it in. Shine a light up there, and when you wiggle the foglight, you'll see the tab (it's on the side facing the midline of the car I believe). Take a srewdriver and push on the tab - it should pop out with a little encouragement. Now your fog light is out!!

I saw a big black tab on the fog light assembly... pushed on it was afraid to break it... will look for this little round tab tomorrow.... thanks.
