Well I guess the title would let you know i didn't have a very good day. I guess I'll start from the first unfortunate event. If you saw my other post on the suspension area, I ordered some rims and springs about two weeks ago. They called me up today and told me to stop by the shop about the things I ordered...

I arrive at the store and there was two VERY young dudes that apparently work there, and the manager waiting outside the shop. Well~ as soon as I get out of the car they drop the biggest bomb that made my day one of the worst!!! The two idiots decided to take MY rims, that I BOUGT, and put it on there car and go for a FU@*ing TEST DRIVE!!!! I don;t know what they were thinking but maybe they could have gotten away with it only if they didn't HIT a curve and totally anhilate my brand new rims... I was trying to keep myself from killing those two kids until they handed me the piece of my rim that they salvaged from the wreck. OMG this pushed me off the edge and I demanded to talk to the owner. Anyways this is just part one of this saga.

After talking to the owner I decided not to do any business with these people and wanted my money back and cancel my order on my springs as well. BUT their store policy is no cash refund(just store credits)!!!! So I asked them to hand over the springs so I can call it a day and move on. I didn't want to think about the rim situation at the moment. BUT no springs!!! The same springs that should have been there a week ago is not there!!!! Long story short, I just left because there is nothing that I can do today with them.

I get home after work and leave my car outside to wash it. The front was barely in towards the garage, but it was over the lasor sensor thingy... My visiting grandmother decided to close the garage door, even though I personally told her not to. And finally the front bumper got hit pretty good.

I just couldn't believe the day I just had today. It's been pretty fu@$ed up.

I got pics of everything that I could....

AAAGGHH!!!!!

Given the circumstances, you shouldn't have to do ANY business with them. Oh man ...

Out of curiosity, contact a lawyer about this. mb there is some sort of consumer protection thing. I would definitely contact the BBB about this and let them know, make sure you let the owner of the business know you are doing this as well. If he cares, it might just scare him enough to put in a full refund.

If the payments were made on CC, you could also dispute the charges, go through those channels as well.

Basically ... do everything you possibly can to fight them getting ANY money from this. That kind of behavior from anyone is wholly unacceptable.

Somebody needs an ass-whipping. Damn grandmothers.

(lol2)

But seriously, you should definitely be getting, at the VERY least, a substantial discount on your wheels. Definitely seek legal cousel. Sometimes just a phone call from a lawyer is enough to get the job done.
If they mount the wheels and tires on another car, then those parts are used.
If they then try to sell them to you as new, then they are breaking the law.

Definitely file a report with your local BBB.

Agree. There is no way in hell that you can tell me they won't give you a cash discount after that story.

Give me the number and I will call and act like your lawyer.

FU*King ppl.

If you accept the story about them not being able to give you a refund because they installed your wheels on someone else's car, then I have some great land east of Florida that I'd like to sell you CHEAP

^lol ur day was pretty bad also.

It's weird you guys all mention about a lawyer because thats exactly what I did!! I told him to just scare him a little bit and see what he'll do, and at the end I got a hell of a deal out of it. The springs are on the house and they are getting delivered straight to my house with tracking numbers(recieved today and confirmed). And instead of my TenzoRs I upgraded them to RacingHart CRs 18s gloss black with $200 cash back out of it(also being shipped to the house).

Total $350 cash back
Free Tein S-techs
Upgraded RacingHart CRs

IDK what the fu$% the lawyer told the owner but I guess he got scurred $h*tless. Also, the lawyer told me if he tries any funny stuff give him a call to resolve this issue, and make him pay for my sufferings (sad1)

I love the AMERICAN WAY!!! (2thumbs)

man, that sucks about shitty shops. Gott thing the lawyer called and probably said he was going to fucking shut them down or something. Hopefully they follow through.

Post the name of the shop to everyone on the forum when this is all done. That way we know to avoid them.

Now I guess you will be needing to get a body kit since the paint got messed up. Just another reason to mod...

Best of luck, sounds like a shitty day overall. Even with the upgrades, it is just added stress.

Remember: After you get everything in, and it is all to your liking.

Call the BBB. Fuck them over anyways. Make them sure they will NEVER do that again.
