Juan has done it again!!!
As it was requested by some members, I took a video of the car running all the way to 142 MPH. It could be more but it was too fast already.
I am sorry about the bumping, but the smooth road becomes very bumpy at those speeds.
You can see that the speed governor is eliminated with our kit.
This was done at the 7 psi boost level set for all kits.

I've done that in a 4 cyl. Altima once, was kind of fun. But I would never do it again.

I participate in quite a few track days and though i don't think i'd hit that high, my 120 gov gets in the way a lot. obviously gettin there quicker would help, but not being able to pass someone on the main straight cause they can still go faster sucks when you're stuck behind them the rest of the track cause your faster in the turns.
I might have been wrong thinking the 3 had the same gove as the 6. if others are hitting 140 than maybe you guys just got a higher gov like the RX-8? anyone confirm that? sorry about bein naive on this

every year in the deserts of Nevada they sanction a public road race called the Silver state classic and they have certain classes of realistic speeds that most our street cars can endure for long periods of time. the 130 class would be a good class...the 200mph ones are prolly fun to either watch or look over the qualifying cars in the pits. (thought)

Yes they still hold the event and the classes start from 90mph up to 165 in 5 mph increments...newbies can only participate in the 125mph class their first time out. it's addictive and it's definately on my "to do before i die" list! esp when i get the beast up and running! www.sscc.us (http://www.sscc.us) is the link if anyone wants to peek at an opportunity to really see what all your hard work is capable of.(wrc) we cant let only the vettes and vipers have all the fun!

You guys need to use a different form of compression on the videos because everyone i've watched about the 3 turbo has been choppy as all hell. I never have had a problem with video's until i started looking at the ones for the 3. Good work on the car though.

get better suspension or a smoother road. I took this picture myself on the way home from work the other day with a $40 walmart digi cam: smooth as as glass. MY WRIST WAS EVEN RESTING ON THE STEERING WHEEL!

well my car is black and you could see that the freaking pic is taken by a freaking cellphone camera, but whatever i dont care what you guys say my turbo was custom made by premier auto technique like 6 months ago and i havent even seen a pic of the hiboost turbo till like less than a month that somebody is this forum told me that my turbo look like the hiboost one...
well like i say i really dont care what you guys think, i just know that if i see you in the highway ill beat the crap out of you.

I mean really, you anadized the hose clamps and nuts and bolts. Last I remember bolts are made of stainless... hmm.

Even the light reflections off the tubes are identical.
The seam on the air filter is in exactly the same place.
The A/C line was "anodized", too.

Doesn't the MPI get rid of the limiter on the MSP? Does anyone make a piggyback for a 3 to do the same? Well besides Juan of course :)

I didn't think the MSP had a limiter... I thought the Pros were simply drag limited to ~132 for the most part. I, for one had the P5 up to 129 on a 'fun run' to Columbia, MO (allegedly of course ;) )...
that is a photochop and its sad M_3... you make the photochopped baby Jesus cry:'(
edit: your filter isn't even a good chop... plus the anodized bolts and a/c... in addition to the light relections. you should at least take pride enough in your work to do it half-assed...

Every tube and line is in the exact same place in both photos including zip ties.... (rofl2) You're joking right?

No way man mine hits about 135 then BOOM feels just like boost cut.
We verified the limit a while back I would assume most cars have one.
But until I get back to West Texas and an MPI it doesn't really matter.

don't worry I understand your turbo envy, most people on this forum without one would but there's no need to pretend like you have one and then, when called on it, take someone else's hard work and try to call it your own. (btw: this is the part that is bothering me. you are taking HiBoost's work, effort and spend $ to try and make yourself e-cool...)
perhaps I'm wrong and you really did have this work done and spent the $. if that's the case please let someone from the forum see it and take pics (i.e. don't sign up with another username claiming to be your friend who's seen it...). I promise you I will apologize and post it as my sig for a couple months...
p.s. next time when you photoshop, the wires and harness that are at the back of the engine bay (the one's going into the firewall) shouldn't be anodized nor made into one single piece :p

The Haltech is fully tunable, but it comes pre tuned from HiBoost with new larger 36 lbs/hr injectors.
