Hey guys!
I have a 2003 p5 and just recently my brake light on the dash has been coming on periodically. It goes out after a couple seconds, sometimes will pop back on for another second, but usually doesn't happen more than twice while driving. Do you think it's trying to tell me it's almost time to change the brakes(which I don't think cuz it's the ebrake light) or is there something going on with the ebrake sensor? You guys are the pros so I look forward to seeing your responses! Thanks ahead of time!

Check your fluid level, and check your pads.

Easy fix. Place a small piece of black electrical tape on the instrument panel over that light. This method takes about 30 seconds and can be applied to any light on any make and model vehicle. (stoned)

lmao, I had this "mod" in my 90 sentra back in the day....I don't wanna add the extra weight in the p5 (silly)
BTW, thanks for the replies everyone. I'll be checking the fluid as soon as this damn rain decides to quit....I love New England weather!

the contact/sensor for the e brake that turns the light on is on the left of the e brake handle under the console.

the e-brake light is literally just a sensor. it probably got misaligned with where it o.g. was supposed to be. just readjust the sensor. simple as that!

there is 1321498239872359853 threads about this flying around. I had same problem. The brake fluid is low. Wont even seem like much but it was enough. Then if that doesn't work, check your brake pads, but 99.9% sure it's the brake fluid
