Nice job...It looks good. Did you have to clean off the calipers any before you painted them? I'm just wondering if brake dust screwed with the paint?

I scrubed them with a wire brush and then wiped them with a wet towel but my cals where really clean as was but yes if its dirty wipe em off it will help the paint last longer and stronger!

Danny,
No, no gloss was used it was just dark out side so i had to use flash on my camera the color i used was Daytona Yellow 500 degree temp it turned out pretty glossy by its self. I got it at AutoZone for 4 dollars.

Really? One of my friend said you have to paint it like every half a year. I doubt if the snow would wash off the paint in the winter.

i think ill paint mine PURE WHITE!! the white with the blue would be nice..the only things that bother me is the yelloe from the little plate "MP3" ..
i think white it could be a nice color bcuz..i'm not a great fan of the yellow stuff on a car..just a question of taste.. :)

Ark,
Im not a huge fan of yellow either however i thought about white but i wanted to make sure my time was well spent meaning ywhite cals are barely noticable.... and plus i was going to possibly get some grey stickers and stuff down the road and the 3 colors combine nicely also as yellow they jump out making sure they are visible and you didnt waste 6 hrs for nothing

I also plan to post more tutorials of things im going to do im not going to say yet because im not sure if its possible to do. If i am able to do it then it will cost you nothing but time and probly save you 100 dollars in aftermarket parts.

559 Nice tutorial, they look outstanding. have you checked out the rear calipers yet will they come off the same way? I will start mine on a nice long weekend so I can get them all done before the work day. So if you can let me know about the rear I would appreciate it Thanks for your hard work. :D :D

Dead Link! atleast for me :( I am thinking of doing my cals with the same color blue that is on my car atleast the closest I can find. BTW...Does it really have to be high temp paint? I wouldn't think so because the caliper shouldn't get that hot but has anyone had a bad experiance with regular non high temp paint?
also BTW...Has anyone thought of going with a chrome or gold plated look? Might sound tacky but it might look good
