Headlight Adjustment

My wife's car has a headlight that is way out of adjustment. Don't ask me how, but is there an adjustment screw or anything I can do to correct this. I've looked all around but found nothing that looks "adjustable".

nop, adjustable ones were on the ES, maybe you put the bulb wrongly (that happened to me)

That figures. Upon closer inspection, however, it would appear that it(the headlight), is a wee bit loose, but the other is rock solid. I think wherever it mounts down below may be broken or detached. Is it true you have to remove the bumper to get the headlight out?

i removed mine without removing the bumper, but it was hard as f$#@

What's the right way? I put Silverstars in mine and now the high-beams are ... looking at the ground. Suspect I got one in upside down, but what's right side up?

Heh, how about the other way? :D

The H4 bulbs have a little "pan" inside them (see http://www.leiming-bulb.com/P43T.jpg) that IIRC goes on the bottom. The three prongs form a "U" shape that should be upside down.

Aha! That means the one I thought was upside-down is right side up, and the one I thought was right-side-up is upside down! Glad I asked. :-P

on my lx, my headlights are adjustable with 2 10mm bolts, i know this for a fack because i took mine apart to paint them and had to readjust them, all the modles should have it becuase they dont make one headlight for this one and one for that one..

just look around on the headlight, ill see if i can dig up a post, but its a bolt that goes into the headlight and adjust the reflector inside..
