You can get them in Canada without the hatch winglet. All 5 doors in the US come standard with them.

Thanks, It was so much cheaper than the GT and there are plans to up the rims and we have just ordered the wing from Mazda...

i have 2 mazda3's, one 2.0 one 2.3, i have to say that there isnt a whole lotta difference performance wise until you are 5500 rpm+, driving in city and doing quick passes are about the same.

I'm impressed, My MP5T is alot faster but it's loud and violent ( It's more fun like that ). The M3 is quick, the speedo comes up nicely but it's not loud or straining...Impressed.

We got it Monday, 4 door, automatic, moonroof, security package, Saddle Brown dead cow seats. Best car in its class-bar none!

why saddle brown. I know thats one of the options but I think saddle brown is ugly as hell. Especially down the road when the lether starts to fade and get old. The interior is gonna look like crap even know you will proabally maintain it well. Just my $.02

The Special Edition comes in Saddle Brown or Black leather. We fell in love with the brown. It is very reminiscent of the brown that Porsche has used for years. There were are only 3,500 SP23 4 doors made, so it`s unique, too. I think the brown will hold up just fine. We like it. That`s what matters. Miata used it a few years back with a Titanium Gray exterior. Mazda built auto journalist Jean Davis a Mazdaspeed MX-5 with Saddle Brown seats last year. Most people seem to like it, or else they are just being nice.

As you already know, the Mazda3 interior quality equals that of much more expensive cars. I think the interior is this car`s biggest selling point, handling second, styling third (IMHO).

Also, have you noticed how popular gray metallics are in new cars? The new BMW 3 Series is usually shown in a dark gray similar to Mazda`s Carbon Gray Mica.
