Hi just wondered if anyone knew if there is any difference in the stock ES suspension compared to the DX or LX on a 03.

I believe they are not the same... slightly stiffer springs maybe?

No, that's why I didn't care if I got an ES or not. Moving up only adds 16" rims, and some interior options. Only the MSP gets you useful goodies.

ES suspension is actually better than the Mazdaspeed Protege, the RX-8, and the Mazdaspeed Miata, combined. It's a well-guarded secret.

I think it's same struts/springs as the lowly models-- with somewhat stiffer bars.

actually Nate was correct...ES gets slightly stiffer springs and struts
