I have a 00 mazda protege and i found a catback system for a 00-04 protege 5. wil this exhaust fit on my car? i need to know soon my inspection is up @ the end of the month. and my cat is really loud.

protege 5 no, protege sedan yes, the protege 5 is actually longer than the sedan, the muffler will stick out.. find an exhaust system for any 99 to 03 protege sedan

the sedan is longer than the p5 by about 3 inches.

sedan is longer not p5. also, it'll fit exactly up till the axle-back section. then the axle-back will need some modification. Nothing big, just need your local muffler shop to weld on like a 3-5 inch piece of pipe to extend it little

Look at the corksport exhaust. www.corksport.com (http://www.corksport.com). Its an awesome exhaust with good power gains.

protege5 length: 170.5 inches
protege length: 174 inches

ahh, sorry. these finals are getting to me. if you see my original post I said the sedan was longer. I apologize but all this studying is making me see things. lol I thought you said the p5 was longer than I just got confuzed. lol

yeah i am so glad i am done with school. i graduate on saturday.
