This section is now being mass moderated.

This means all new threads will be sent to a "pending" queue awaiting moderator approval.

Who?
Blame t3ase.

What?
Any new threads posted after 12:20am on Saturday, May 07, 2005 in the "MSP General Chat" section are no longer immediately viewable. The threads are sent in to a "queue", where the section's moderators approve or deny them all.

Why?
Due to the large number of posts in the Mazdaspeed section, the forum has become quite cluttered and it makes things VERY difficult to search for.

The idea behind a forum is to have archives of all previous threads searchable to find relevant results. I stress "relevant" due to the fact that searching for "clunk" provides several hundreds of results; all placed in different sections. Now, wouldn't it be easier to be able to specify that you want to search in the "Suspension" area for "clunk"?

Anyone with sense will realize that yes, it would.

So, a while back, the admins and moderators came up with a solution; subforums. The idea works extremely well but due to the huge number of members we have, execution is another story.

While "forcing" members to obey our guidelines is the absolute last resort we wish to take, the increasing popularity of misplaced threads in the 'MSP General Chat' area has made us do this.

So, basically, this all means that before posting a new thread, please THINK ABOUT WHAT IT'S ABOUT.

If the topic has nothing to do with a MAZDASPEED PROTEGE, move it to "Off Topic" or another forum it matches, such as "General Performance" or "Car Audio / Electronics".

If the topic is generally related to MAZDASPEED PROTEGEs, please post here.

However, do NOT post here if you blew your turbo, need new pipes, want to see pics, just bought a new video game, or want to beat a dead horse.

If your MSP's turbo is having issues, post in the "MSP Turbo" section. If you just want to know how a part of a turbo works, post in the general "Forced Induction Tech" area.

Makes sense to me, and it should to you.

Especially now.

This change is NOT permanent and WAS done with administrative authorization.

If you have ANY problems with this, please message myself or another moderator/admin.

Thanks,
t3ase.
