I was able to make some videos in the dry. The street was very dirty but still was very good. The car goes from 0 to 60 in 6 seconds and 0 to 100 in 13 seconds.
This was done at 7 psi of boost and I launched at 5000 rpms. At 9000ft elevation.
Enjoy...

Whoa, 9000ft eh? And I thought I was high up here... your 12 second pass in the protege wasn't at that elevation was it?
Sorry for the semi threadjack there, very nice vids... the car sounds great.(thumb)

No problem. Our P5 was raced at California Speedway in Ontario, California.

The car makes 260 WHP at 8 psi of boost and 290 WHP at 10 psi, so I assume it is a lot faster. This is done with the stock exhaust and cat converter.

just curious, I am assuming the 260 @ 8psi and 290 @ 10 psi are dyno tuned? or is that just minor tuning?
vindication
05-11-2005, 12:38 AM
I'm sure it's not tuned to the best capabilities but more than just minor. Plus it's a stock exhaust.
Juan, or anyone else in the know for that matter, are there any lsd's for the 3? I figure it's gonna be hard for traction if only 1 wheel spinning

Hey, think we could get some 1/4 mile times? Oh and are you having a problem with the clutch or tranny yet? I've already had problems with mine. Btw the vids look awsome, another $2000 and i'm there.
hooooly sheeeeeeeeeeeeeep. that's nice. makes me want to trade in my car and get a 3 and this kit

also, what size is the turbo? and what octane gas was used for the dyno? 260 @ 8 and 290 @ 10 just seem too good to be true
