p0171 sytem too lean bank 1

new maf, new o2 sensor bank 1, wtf, why does it keep comming back...... i can notice from 2000 to 3000 rpms sometimes it feels like i loose power, but as sonn as i give ti more gas it is fine, i am guessing it is leaning out therefor the code is set, i keep erasing it from memory , but i am about to bring it to mazda and let them screw with it since i cant do my own exteded warrenty work at my dads shop..

i have sri and resignator is cut out on exhaust, have msp axleback exhaust.

anyone else have this problem..

i dont have one, the 1.6l doesnt have an air temp meter

themann on protegeclub told me to check for exhaust or vaccumm leak, i am gonna look tommorow at that..

the 1.6 does not account for air temp?????

i think it is built into the maf sensor
