what are the pro's and con's??
the 2.0L engine on my automatic is gone...engines for a 2.0L manual engine are cheaper....how difficult is it to do a swap? what exactly do i need to change??

Huh? The engines are the same on the auto and manual. Are you talking about the tranny or the engine? Everything you need to know on a AT to MT swap is here

long story....
4/30/05 i went to mobil and had an oil change, according to the receipt they put 3.5 quarts of oil in.
5/7/05 at about 730p the car starts making a funny noise which turns into the "marble in a can" noise....i check the oil, its DRY...no oil. went under the car, checked the oil pan/filter...everything is clean. everyone thats listened to it has told me that the engine is gone....
5/8/05 in the morning i jacked the car up again, around the oil pan there is a lot of dry oil...weird...
conclusion: oil leak? or mobil? either way, i have no engine...

the car has 107k+ miles on it. yes i bought it new...just do to much driving. but i can show proof i take car of the car, i have ALL my receipts since day one!
