I have always loved the oem knob on my 3, but since I got my sts, the knob looks a little bubbly and oversized. I have been looking for a nice shift knob, but they are all so expensive. Anyone know of any reasonably priced knobs out there?

What kind of knob are you looking for??? My personal preference is the old-fashioned spherical knob... www.teamvoodoo.com (http://www.teamvoodoo.com) carries all aluminium shift knobs that simply screw-on. Check www.knobmeister.com (http://www.knobmeister.com) for wooden knobs. By the way, the thread size for a Mazda shift knob is 10x1.25mm for any screw-on shift knob. DO NOT use shift knobs with set screws (such as MOMO), because they will come off when you least expect it (I'm speaking from personal experience...)!!!

well, I dont really want something spherical, not real picky though. if i find a good one, i will take it, just want something simple and small.....preferably a flat black

They also make pistol grip ones too.

From what I understand, all the Mazda m/t shifters share the same thread size.
I bought one that was advertised for miatas and it threaded on just fine.
