Yea, there are many different avenues that you could venture, from audio/video, full blow suspension and rims, body, or even turbo setups.

give it to me to spend for you!! :D j/k, $5000 will get you pretty far. turbo kit,exhaust, suspension, rims and mp3/msp bumper conversion sould use up most of that.

you could get the budget turbo kits that are out now, or find a used turbo kit on the forums from a private seller.

If you go turbo, i'd get a good suspension set-up, and some nice wheels. Not sure if the group buy for the K-sport coilovers are going on, but you should check in the marketplace threads for that.

As for wheels, there's a GB going on for REV wheels, good prices. Around 500 dollars for a set of wheels shipped to your door step. Check that out.

And i'd say looks wise, i personally didn't like the look of the LX dropped, with the stock bumpers. Even when dropped, it still looked like it was riding high. So i did the MP3 conversion, which can be costly, but i lucked on someone selling their stock P5 set-up locally.

get the hiboost... upgrade to some coilovers... wheels tires... get it all installed and there goes your 5gs... (you can install some of it.. but if you are an newb turbo install not for you).... save some money for the bump conversion for that cleaner look, or just start lookin at body kits....
