I got some clear corners for my 2000 protege and they are not clear they are like the oem but not orange . I see that some of you have the better looking clear ones and they dont make them anymore i think , they only make them with a black border . So b4 i buy them could you guys post pics of your clear corners .

I got some clear corners from ebay for my 1999 Protege. This is the kind that I bought:

Attached is a picture of them on the car. They are clear during the day, but at night with the lights on they light up a light orange because of the orange bulbs that I have in there (it is the law where I am from). Hopefully this helps out.

Were the clear corners an OEM option?

Coz im SURE that mine has clear corners, and I bought it second hand from an old fart who wouldnt have modded the car in the least (He even wore a hole in the carpet from the heel of his foot and didn't fix it!!)

Mines a 99 DX, whether it makes a difference to the spec levels (Corner unit colourwise, not performance spec :) )

Isn't the colour that they light up only based on what colour of bulb is in there? Mine wouldn't light up a light orange at nightime if I had a white bulb in there.

if you want the clear look but want them to light up amber you want titanium silver bulbs. they're like 10 bucks a pair. super clean look. front and rear
