I dont know if its me, but my car has been idling ruffer lately. I can sense some vibration in my seat that I didnt have before (uhm)! Do you guys have these vibration too? My vaccum is between 19-21 at idle? Is that OK?
thanks

Vac readings will differ by a good amount depending on your elevation, so it is hard to tell if you have a vac leak using only a gauge (unless you have been monitoring the same gauge for awhile and notice a drop in the readings)... That is in the normal range though, so you might be fine there.
Are you sure it isn't just in your head? How many miles are on it?

Around 13500! Maybe Im just paranoing... just cant remember though if those vibrations were there before (dunno) !!! Is your idle smooth as hell or you can also sense some little vibration !? And dont think Im a little pussy that doesnt want is car to vibrate a little, Im just checking to see if it is normal :D !!! By the way I also got the mazdaspeed replacement muffler (round tip). Can it provocate more vibration by sounding deeper even at idle (uhm)?

Could just be the exhaust, I know that the round mazdaspeed replacement muffler if quiet a bit louder than the stock oval racing beat one.
On another note, I know that my car vibrates more and more as the engine gets hot.

mine was semi smooth till after 20k miles.. got ruffer and got crazy wicked around 25k in turn i took it to dealer the flased for fix... seems better but my vibration was intense loud like metal to metal.. so i dont even know if the flash "fixed " it or made it better

Might be a dumb question, but have you checked your spark plugs?

I think you're just feeling more vibration cause the car isn't brand new... after 10K you start to hear rattles and feel vibrations. does your idle dip at all? Pretty easy to tell from looking at the tach if you're idle is flucuating, giving a rougher idle.

Well its not dipping but it is moving a tiny bit around 700 RPM. But I can sense vibrations in my seat just like little push. It also coincide with a lower noise coming out of my exhaust (kind of very very very quiet backfire). Is it the same with you?

I was thinking to check the motor mount, that would cause additiional vibrations to come into the car.

How can I check if they are worn out ?

Did you put new stock plugs or an other brand ?

your plugs could. I'm pretty sure its the new tip. Its alot deeper so it vibrates more. When i replaced my cat section and went catless it started to do this too, because of the deeper exhaust. Also i changed to that muffler in my P5 before and it started doing the same thing cause of the deepness.

I would replace the plugs mine has started roughing rough too. It seems fine unless it is idiling. These cars foul out plugs very fast! Last time I swapped them running stock boost they were very black.

Did you already change them? If so, did it help smoothing the idle?
