sorry for the crappy pics.

and why does the instructions say to drill holes and cut stuff?
I thought no drilling was required for this kit...? (shrug)

Looks fine to me. The pipes are mild steel thats why they look like that.

the inside will rust over time if it's not coated. there's always moisture in the air....

drill the metal piece that covers where the stock smic went.
and drill something off the bumper. spacers maybe. i gotta reread it, but i'm going to bed now.

drill the metal piece that covers where the stock smic went.

is it just me or is that the new ic/tb pipe?

since the kit is shipping with the new radiator bracket, it would only make sense that the new pipe is in there as well.

the bottom grill... after you take the bumper off look at the back of the grill and you'll see three bar things... i'll find a pic somewhere.
anyways i needed to grind mine down from the back so that the IC would fit without rubbing on the bumper.

the best tip i can give you is put cardboard in front of the radiator as soon as you take the fans out. as i was putting my fans back in a punched a hole in the radiator

In my experience, things will always fit differently from one car to the next. There are always slight differences in the production of cars as well as the aftermarket parts that are made. Stress, environmental considerations and other things will have to be factored in. Once you start removing things, test fit everything LOOSLY before getting too far into it. Measure twice and cut once. This will prevent things from looking like ass down the line. For example, I had to cut into some plastic wire loom to get my IC to fit on my 7. Some others didn't. All depends.
