Ok I have a stock catback with apex 2.5 catless dp. My question is i want to get an s-pipe....i've read that its the most restrictive part of the exhaust.

So my question is will i notice a difference if i replace it, sound wise and power? Also who else makes just an s-pipe besides hiboost?

I will keep searching but its just easier to get feedback and opinions

Thanks.

i didn't even know hiboost made one. mam makes one, corksport's supposed to release theirs very soon. but it's probably not the most restrictive part.....that award goes to the midpipe section with the 2 cats. i seriously doubt you'll change the sound. i don't think you'll feel too much of a power increase either, but there's definitely power gains to be had.

Hell I didnt know that MAM produced one? I thought only GHL made one with their turbo back system. How much is MAMs?

if you're gonna get just the s-pipe and nothing else, go with mam's. you can get it jet-hot coated for a good price :). it's expensive cause the bends are really tight and themselves cost a bunch.

see? and these are just u-bends...i think they have to use donut bends to make the s-pipe....those are even more expensive.

the s-pipe is DEF not the most restrictive part of the exhaust.. theres way more gains to be had in replacing your stock cat-back insted of the spipe..

ported s pipe.. or 2.5in on stock boost = no gains

what about at 10 psi?

I really just don't want to replace the catback.

Haha, always the realistic pessimist.:) Yes, there are better gains in the rest of the exhaust (especially the midpipe in between the 2 cats), but I really think you underestimate this piece man. You keep telling me there will be no gains when we chat on the IM, but I think that a lot of us will see some gains. We will see soon when they start shipping here in the next week or so.

The seperate S-pipe will bolt up to the apex.
