Today I went to buy some tea and ran into a friend of my who just got SR20DET engine swap done for his S13. He starting to tell me how great the car felt after the swap. About 1 month ago, I gave him a ride in my MSP(with just FMIC, no SRI or CAI, no downpipe, no catback, and no boost controller), he said:"the MSP is just ok." So today I asked him if he want to take a ride again( now with FMIC, Rile CF CAI, custom 2.5"downpipe, magaflow cat, 2.5"cat back, and Blitz boost controller. Boost set at 10psi). He said yes.
This is what happen next:
We went to a small street with no cars, he asked me:" how much are you boosting?" I said "10psi" and just lanch the car at 3500rpm. 1st gear, he hold his hand on the door handle and said "Oh". 2nd gear and 3rd gear, he didnt say shit. After 90MPH I let go the gas(coz we are 3 times over the speed limited on that street). The next thing came out of my friend's mouth was and I quote"Oh, shit, that's fast!!"
I was so happy, all my time and 2 grand finally paid off!!!
