I'm selling my MSP. It's been a great car and I have no real complaints. It's served its purpose of being a sporty sedan for the past couple of years. But, it's time to move on.

I've taken excellent care of the car, changed the oil, trans fluid, spark plugs, and whatnot.... I'm in my 30's and drive the car conservatively. Most of the miles (80%+) are highway or rural road miles.

I bought new Kosei wheels that are very light and have installed Fuzion ZRi tires. I have rolled the rear fenders to accomodate a larger tire and offset. There is no rubbing unless you're hauling 3 big people squeezed into the back and going over bumpy roads with them.

I have installed a Sirius tuner and antenna which go with the car. I've also installed Dave B's brushed trim rings, a set of 3 gauges in the DIN panel below the radio (boost, volts, and oil pressure). Additionally, I've installed stainless steel brake lines (huge improvement, BTW), it has fairly new brake pads and rotors. I also have an extra (almost new) Fuzion tire that comes with the car. I've had the rear sway bushings replaced with the latest e-series recently. It passed NC State inspection a couple of days ago with no problems.

The car has 42,300 on the clock. It's a great car and looks fantastic. My price is $15,000 USD. If you're interested, please PM me. I live in Durham, NC.

No interest, eh? Did I mention a free Saris roof rack? The Satellite tuner and antenna? Satellite service is paid through mid-June? This car is mostly stock and in great condition. I wish it didn't have the miles on it... but it does.. even though they're mostly highway miles... oh well.

Make me an offer if you're serious.

nice clean ride... if it wasnt' for the mileage, you might have change in getting that price.

Sold for 14,500 (the lowest I would go) which I think is fair given the condition of this car. I know the miles were a little high but I cared for this car very well... and miles were mostly highway. I'm happy it will have a nice new home. The guy buying it is very cool.

Thanks and I'll likely stop visiting this board... I'll be spending my time at E46fanatics.com...

Thanks, James... If you hang out here too much, you'll think your car isn't worth much more than a regular Protege... However, there are people out there that know this is a cool car and are looking for it. It just takes a long time to sell. You won't get many emails/calls because most people are looking for regular Protege's that come across your ads..... I got one email telling me blue book was 11,k at best... but Kelley doesn't even list this car. So, he was thinking it was a regular Protege...

So, if you sell to people on this board, and want a quick sale, I think you will lose money. Sell privately and be prepared to wait. I used Auto-trader.com... but you can always use the local paper and other places... Good luck and thanks for the congrats.

Bye,
Carl
