I recently spoke to my Mazda dealer and sitting on his desk was a 1:43 scale diecast model of the 1991 Mazdaspeed 787B LeMans winner. It was given to him at the Mazda Street Heat event he attended in September. It even had the event logo and info on the base of the model. I am not sure if you are interested in collecting models but this one is worth getting. It is very highly detailed. It has the Mazdaspeed logo printed twice on the rear bumpers. The Volk Racing wheels on this thing are look outstanding. The model is made by IXO Models. I picked one up recently at a local model car shop. It was the only one they had. It was funny,when I went to check out, the guy who owns the shop said, "finally someone wants to buy a real racecar rather than panel trucks and NASCAR." It has to be one of the most highly detailed models that I own. Even better than the 1:18 scale models I have.
They also sell the other 787B that competed in '91. It is white and blue. #18. It just doesn't have the cool paintjob #55 has. IMHO.
