SMIC or FMIC

Guys,

I was wondering what's is the main difference in application between a side or front mount intercooler.

Is there any difference except for look?Is the side one ideal if you keep the car stock and the front one if you are planning to mod it further?

It may be a dum question but I cannot understand which one would be a better buy, money aside.

the SMIC is good for like stock to around 10-15 psi and is more stealth. the FMIC is good allaround.

I already saw that but i wasn't sure for what kind of applications were dedicated for.

I guess it is propabli better to get a FMIC since there is only $200 difference bwteen the two complete set up.
