GHL if you want a divorced wastegate path. MAM or Corksport if you want an open mouth design.

GHL doesn't come with a flange, so you would have to get one welded on or get your SP2 flange cut off.

Just the S-pipe does not, but the full downpipe has a flange that connects right up to any catback system.

i dunno if it would be the best to go from 3" piping down to 60mm piping. i'd prolly go with mam's downpipe+midpipe

Sorry bout the jack, but is the s or j pipe that beneficial? Ive read many threads and none of them provide a proper answer. Im not looking for peak gains but more drivability improvements, will the s or j pipe help improve drivability or is the mid pipe the problem?
thanks

ditto on the GHL. Great DP and has flange for catback system.

are there benefits or disadvantages for either design ?

the diverged path keeps the wastegate gasses from causing turbulence in the main exhaust flow. however, having a "split path" can be misleading, because if its not fairly long (the GHL's WG path is pretty short due to the msp's turbo location) then it doesn't do much of anything but add to the complexity of manufacturing.
but in all honesty, with protege's its not a huge deal, you need to REALLY push some boost for it to matter much.

thats good stuff thanks for the info
are you saying the design type as in one path or a diverted path wont make a huge deal or just a downpipe in general wont make that much differerence until you are pushing a lot of boost..is a lot of boost upwards of 12PSI ?

the diverged path, especially a short one.
a s/down-pipe on the msp will make a pretty good difference. you'll deffinitely notice it.
