Corksport Exhaust w/ Stock Axleback

A member here is selling the pipes but no axle back. I'd have a custom axleback made eventually, got an N1 i can get for $25 bucks, but would the corksport work with the stock axleback until i could get the pipes made?

Yes, I personally did this and they fit together fine. It actually sounds really cool with the cs mid piping and stock axle back. Plus your car still looks stock. But I had to put on the cs rear section cuz it sounds awesome.

any sound clips floating around of this setup? I've got a mam s/j pipe coming, and a single catted midpipe + the rest of the piping to the stock axelback sometime later. How can you describe the sound Drumfreak?

It sounds stock until you really punch it over 4 grand. But it isn't very loud just mean sounding. It would probably surprise the shit out of someone if they thought you were stock. Then after pushing in the clutch at redline the down revving sounds really cool. Almost kinda slappy sounding. Turbo cars always sound really cool down revving but this is a little higher pitched. Get the setup on and stand behind your car and have someone rev it or better yet have someone drive by you. Cars sound cooler with engine stress.

Very good description. I wouldnt say anything different. I just thought the muffler section that came with the CS exhaust was to loud for me. Other people said the same thing to and the cabin noise was loud as hell. This is just my opinion though.

i ran with stock axel back and it sounded perfect. very very quiet yet still had the performance increase
