i just finished removing my stock bpv to run just bov and the following things happened...
1. under light throttle i still get mad turkey
2. at half throttle boost hit 12psi before i let off
i'm mainly concerned with my car hitting 12 because before this i was running 7-7.5 at max (dual setup). all vaccum lines are secure, nipples are capped off...any one have any ideas?

check for kinks in the wastegate line.

the same thing is happening to me right now.
But my Bov is broken becuz you can hear it leaking and i stripped the screw that you use to adjust it.
You might need a different or new BOV.

Your BOV should have nothing to do with your wastegate opening unless you have them tapped off the same vacuum line, and then I still doubt it. How exactly did you remove your BPV?

Sounds like a malfunctioning wastegate. Not to state the obvious, but you better stay out of full boost until you fix it. Good luck.

Vaccuum leak somewhere. My guess, since you just installed a BOV, is that the line going to the BOV has a leak in it. That line is running off a T that also goes to the wastegate. if any of those lines has a leak, or if the BOV or wastegate has a leak in the diapham, then you will boost too high.

thanks for all your suggestions, turns out the T that the bpv was on was cracked. changed it out and worked fine except for the crazy turkey

don't be afraid to mess with the BOV settings, it took me a while to tune mine just right to destroy the turkey. and expect a slight turkey at low boost it, but thats true for me bc I am running one bov and not the dual setup
