Well put it to ya this way the cooler the air the better, however this thread is the only reason i acutally remember doing it on my car a coupla months ago lol
BTW you dont have to worry about any ice or anything forming in the TB i had mine done before that ice storm hit down here and drove around in it
ahh i guess for a couple of $ i will do it so all i need is a 3/8 brass fitting?

u are talking about the coolant bypass for the throttle body right?? if so you don;t need anything you just need to run the lines in a loop.
what do i connect the lines with?

(mswerd) Just do it, remove one of the hoses that goes from the engine to the throttle body, then disconnect the other hose from the throttlebody and put it where the first hose started. No brass fitting is necessary, you can get some rubber vacuum fittings for the empty coolant ports on the TB if you want though.

You just use one hose instead of two.
yea i see that now that i looked for the other hose. thanks
yea that sucked. but i got it. i made the mastake and took the bottom one off first let air in the system and lost about a qt of coolant. ha

I'd be interested to see any real performance gains. Let us know if you feel any measurable difference.
