Almost time to change the rear pads on my P5. 30000 miles. Where to buy and what kind are recommended?

30K seems low. have you done the front yet. usually the rears life is almost twice as long as the fronts?

I did my front at 30K and have 45K now and the rears still have life on them.
I will probably change them by end of summer......

i used wager pads on my front (44.XX) and am going to use the same on the rear (28.99). they work well, probably the same if not a little better than OEM pads. pads are so easy to do on the protege and with the lifetime warranty you are set forever......

Interesting. I recall reading that P5's tend to wear the rears first due to more rear bias (which I agree is unusual).

My front ones didn't need replacing until 64K and the rear ones are still fine at 68K

City traffic with an automatic verses a manny tranny in the mountains. I am still on my stock rear pads from 2003. I hardly use the brakes.
