on a serious note, when have ya been told you will get your cars?

the first msp already came in and bought and i'm waiting for mine. I was told it was just a matter of days.

turbo, i went to irvine today after work cuz it's just down the street from me and i checked out the mazdaspeed. the car seemed pretty nice inside. weird mesh on the seats tho. just a lot bigger than i thought. i also sat in the mazda6. much more luxurious than i thought it would be. very very sexy, both cars.

anyway, back to what i was gonna say. you mentioned (in another thread) that the salesperson told you that they sold 4 speeds already? well, i went inside checked out the orange speed for like 5-10 secs when i was approached by sales. i pretty much flat out told him that i was already being helped by someone in the fleet department and that i was just checking the car out and waiting for the black to come in. he told me that they only got that orange one in and THAT'S IT, then just walked away rudely because he wasn't going to get a sale. so that person that told you 4 have been sold and were only getting 6 total lied. just wanted to let you know so that you don't give HIM/HER the sale. i wouldn't if someone lied to me.

they should be getting AT LEAST 6 speeds, but the fleet thinks he'll get about a dozen in. so if you want the car then you better put down a deposit. just go talk to phong at the fleet department and deal with him, tell him LOUIE sent ya. maybe we'll both get better deals. :D

i think it's about time i got a delivery date...or at least, have my car already!
it's been 5 1/2 months since the day i put my deposit!..Can anyone top that wait? :bs:

I've been car-less since my total lost accident 9 weeks ago. :(

But nonetheless, even when i get my car i wish the weather in Toronto was bout 22 degrees and sunny!.
Too bad it ain't, it's like - 5 degree, grey skies and if it's not raining, it's snowing! :mad:

I've had my deposit down since April 21 2002. That makes me WAITING a total of nearly 8 months at a toronto dealership.

hey colin, there is ONE mazdaspeed on the showroom floor but it's already been sold. it's orange and yes, you can go check it out. i did last night. pretty cool i must say. check out the mazda6 too.

to interject here. You kids who are confused about irvine mazda. They said they sold 4 already. I can almost guarantee you that that means 4 of them have deposits, not that 4 ppl have taken delivery. Which would mean you all are indeed the spot in line that you think you are, and that that orange one is in fact the only one they have received.

Deposit April 22....been waiting as well...Mazda should have allocated the cars based on deposit dates..not playing favourites with dealers.....wonder who was on thier knees to get a car

Oliver....you are so right. Unfortunately it seems those dealers that have the highest sales ( at least in Canada ) are getting the cars first. Deposits have no significance whatsoever. Neither does distance unfortunately. I live the Furthest away from BC. You'd think they would send our cars relatively early compared to others, as it takes at least 3 weeks for delivery. Our cars have not moved yet because only the big dealers are getting them first. So, more then likely, I'll be the last one to get the MSP in Canada. Same thing happened with the MP3. Mazda of Canada is the lamest, most idiotic car company I have ever dealt with. It's a good thing they got some nice cars.
