All these cars are wonderful in their stock form.
I'll leave the STi out of it since I have it.
1. 1996 eagle talon ( there is one for $3000 down the street thats been calling to me and I can't figure out why)

1. 1988 M3 supercharged with a e36 engine swap(had one and miss it alot)
2. 2003-04Evolution 8 Mr(good performance for mid $20k)
3. 2002-03 BMW 330i(family car)
4. turbocharger for the protege i currently own
5. volvo s60(good for the money)
oh yeah, i wouldn't put a e46 engine into a m coupe because i drove one of those for 5 months with the 315hp inline 6 and that was too much power for it. so i couldn't imagine another 18hp into that thing. it has no traction for turns and the stability control kept going off on me, but it definitely would make a good burnout car.

You are teh boring.
Protege02, that's why you disable the traction control and buy some massive tires for it and teach yourself how to drive it. That thing (Mcoupe w/e46)would haul ass in ridiculous amounts on a road course.

go and drive one with the dsc turned off, and you will see why i said it would be a good burnout car. well, you can do a hell of a donut. the 315hp one that i drove couldn't go over 58mph in a salom without the tail sliding out. it's a fun car for someone who loves to go buy tires and likes to go straight, but not a good road course car. buy one of the last ones made because they have 315hp(not the 240hp that's in the e36 m3) and you can buy a chip, exhaust, intake, and some suspension parts from it from dinan. i was going to do that, but i got a better offer.

What about that Attack kit car you have in your sig? With a donor Accord and parts it still wouldn't be 35k.

that thing is based on an Accord?! Holy god, we need more info!
How many pimp points do you think you automatically be given if you drove a black '64 Continental. Those cars are so badass.

The K1 kit car will cost you about 28k finished with all the donor parts, painted and tuned. I had the priviledge of meeting an owner of one who had built if from the kit. Took him about 9 months, but he loves it to death. He has the neon-ish green color which is alright, but still, it's bad ass. It's "loosely" based on the accord. It's RWD afterall.. haha..
And brent, good looking out on the wail-tail, It would cost more than 35k to get one though here. I was thinking RS200 the whole time, but just isn't under the 35k limit. And yes, I realize brent you can find one for cheaper, I'm saying one that works.

That Alpina M3 you referenced, way more than 35k. More than double.
Also, if you can find that Lotus for under 35k, I'd be impressed.

Doubtful. You don't know anyone with a cup beetle or an RSI. You almost had him though. I saw an RSI when I was in germany a while ago, cool looking junebug..However, it's still a dog.

Unfortunately no. My father in law had one, but some lady cut him off over an icy bridge and it was either hit her or the guardrail and he chose guardrail.
We've had endless talks about that car and maybe finding another.
