I just started having a new problem over the past few days, my idle seems lower, about 500-600 when before it was at least 700+ and now when I am at a stop light or parked with the car one the idle will drop (I can feel the car get real shaky like it's gonna die) then pop's back up, it hasn't died on me though... yet.

I know it could be the EGR problem or a vacuum leak but I noticed one other thing, I could hear a whistle when I was stopped too, sometimes very noticeable, sometimes not, sometimes non-existant. Well today I played with it and noticed something, the whistle only exists when my steering wheel is in certain positions, when it's not turned at all I can hear the whistling but if it's to either side at certain positions it will not whistle, and at others it will, it seems that certain positions will also change the idle rpm's, WTF??!

Any ideas?

Sounds like the belt on your steering pump might have jumped a rib. Check that first.

If your car sounds like it's going to stop and idle's around 300-400 bouncing, may just be misfiring sparkplug. Gap could be closed, check your plugs

Ummm..no. It likely isn't a misfire because then you would have problems at any speed. Don't bother with the plugs or the iginition system. Because your check engine light would flash in the event of a misfire and your car would run like crap all the time.
