Alright guys.... I have a 1998 mazda protege and I am tryin to think of some differerent types of mods that I could do to change some of the apperance on my car, stuff that I could do myself and change myself. Anyone have any good ideas about some stuff that i could paint, change, move on my car that would look significantly better? and one more question my grill on my car is cracked and suggestions on what i could do to replace it as somethin different than the one i got on my car? any comments welcome.

Rouge 1: stay on target.... (wrc)

alright, so what kind of look are you going for? I have been eyeing my 98 (BP POWER) and I was thinking about redoing the grill. I was thinking about just dremeling out the grill and logo and leaving it open. But I was thinking that maybe I could make a BLINGd out grill. I SEE it in my mind, but I can't put it into words or pictures yet. I'm searching for the right material. Some heads made grills for their p5's using gutter mesh from Home Depot.

you can make body kits if you have a garage, some tools and patience. I've seen a guy make side skirts out of dense foam. He mounted blocks of foam to his car, then wittled it down to the shape he wanted, then wrapped it in fiberglass, sanded it down and painted it. You could tell it was DIY, but it's all about how much attention to detail you have.

If you pop the hood, there's a square in the center that isn't reinforced. If you had the guts, make some cuts and you could put a scoop there, or reverse cowl. again, something I see in my head, but I can't show you.

OVERFENDERS, true JDM BaZukO style.
