would anyone happen to know if manual shift knobs will fit on the automatic since it doesnt have any buttons and is screw on?

i doubt it. there has to be some button type mechanism to shift into gears.

i think this is the right answer...
since i have never seen an automatic 3 i would say i dunno... though i have driven an automatic 6 and don't think it would work in that instance...

I did saw knob for AT..yes, it is for AT

I'm not sure a MT knob would fit the AT but my MZ3 doesn't require tu push a button to shift. Have you taken the stock knob out? It is screwed on. Correct me if I'm wrong please but I'll check as soon I'm of work LOL. Another knob would look good on an AT. A few months ago some AT 3'ers bolted on a MT shift boot to their AT 3's. I'm thinking to do the same.

i didnt have time to wait for a 3 special ordered. all the dealer had were A/T's so i took it. i just wanted to see if anyone had tried to put an M/T knob on the A/T since there is no button

yeah then you can buy a nice leather boot and put that arond your auto shifter as well, it would be super sweet.
