Yet another guage question

Ok, I know this has been gone over 100 times, an I have searched. But i'm still a little unclear about which additional guage I should get.

I Know:
- I'm getting two guages
- I'm getting Autometer Ultralite guages
- One of them will be a Boost guage
- I will be keeping my engine stock internally
- I won't be adding many major performance parts until my warranty is gone (40k miles from now)

From what i've read the Autometer AF is just a light show, and not very functional. It seems to be a toss up between Oil pressure and EGT.

Comments, suggetions, etc?

EGT, will be usefull down the line.

I would say oil pressure. It will let you know when something is wrong with your car.

egt definitely. you can use the readings to get a rough idea on how your a/f ratios are doing....too cold and you're running rich; too hot and you're running lean.

On a stock car? Who cares what your Exhaust Gas Temperature is until you start modifying.

not really, it lets u know when u can shut off ur car after racing it, it also lets u know when the turbo is overheating

Sounds like EGT might be the way to go.
