I'm organizing a meet with one of the guys out of the Missouri forum for the end of May time frame. We are hoping that we can get a huge Mazda turnout. The meet will probably be held in Kansas City, not sure on a date, time or place yet, but I will keep eveyone posted. We are going to try and get as many people from the Midwest as we can to this meet. So it would be great if you guys could make it.

I know all of us have talked about getting together with a bunch of mazda owners for a long time now and this would be the perfect chance if we can get a good response. So who all is in from this thread?

This sounds like it could be a blast. Kansas is to far of a drive for my hooptie.
Today at 1pm, I have a phone interview for the position I have been hoping I get. If all goes well, I could be in my new job, have a new car and be able to attend this event. If I end up making what I heard this position pays, I can get a new car and most liekyl even get a used P5 of MSP. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Unfortunatley I won't be able to attend this one. Lack of money is the key reason plus I don't feel comfortable driving my hooptie that far at this time.
Hope everyone that attends has fun and maybe next year.

Damn--sounds like fun, and I even have a friend in Overland Park to stay with.
However, date won't work....I'll be in New York all of next week.
Hope you get a decent turnout and have tons o' fun!

Car might not be done in time. ANd i might not have enough miles on her new enigne to drive her down and rack up highway miles... and i might not feel that confident taking her away from the safety of my shop either... i have BAD luck.
