I'm going to post this in the For Sale threads as well but nobody ever reads those. At least, none of the Miata guys anyway. Here's the deal:
Classic Red Hardtop without Defroster - $800 OBO
Glass - Perfect. No fading, no cracks, no bubbles.
Interior - Black in Great Condition
Exterior - Classic Red but has a 1 inch x 1 inch crack on the surface fiberglass. The crack has also caused paint to chip a little on the side. Average repair costs from local body shops is $350-$400 WITH REPAINTING.
New Hardtop: $1750 + Paint = $2000ish
E-Bay Hardtop: $1100 (Average) + $150 Shipping (Average) + Paint = $1600ish
My Hardtop: $800 (OBO) + $400 Repair & Paint (Worst Case Scenario) = $1200ish
You save AT LEAST $300 if not more!!!
