When I was getting my oil changed at Mazda last week I was checking out the SP23's on the lot. I noticed the 5-doors have cleared-out tailights, which look awesome, although the SP23 sedan doesn't have them....why would Mazda do this? I went to the website and the tailights are not some option, and there is no visual evidence they exist on the website. They really help the overall look of the car, reminds me much of the tailights on the Lexus RX330. Who's got an SP23 with them?

Mazda never designed a Mazda3/Axela sedan with LED's, they only designed them on the 5-door (and MazdaUSA subsequently decided to incorporate the LEDS on the US 5-door SP23 to further differentiate the SP23 over the regular model).
So no one in the entire world has factory LED's on a Mazda3/Axela sedan.

where in the aftermarket can you find LED's for the sedan?

None that I know of for the taillights. Some have experimented getting LED bulbs that fit in the housing but the end result wasn't bright enough.
However, I do know of aftermarket LED for the sedan Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL), sorry no pics.
