my gawd, 2474 lbs for the base MX-5?!?!?!? 25/30 mpg??? 170hp 2.0 MZR w/ 7000rpm redline???

and the interior seating dimensions are practically identical to my 8! that means I can actually fit *comfortably* in this car!

I think mazda just hit this one out of the ballpark... great job mazda :D

so it's 200lbs heavier than the 1st NB (1999 car) with 28more hp, and the same redline.

I have to admit, I didn't like the looks at all in the beginning, but it's growing. the front still needs help... Looks liek a bar of soap :)

I'm waiting for drive impressions... that'll be the final decision maker. At leats it'll be easy enough to bolt up the 2.3L ;)

Oh well.. eitherway, I'm keepin my MSM ;)

Note, only the 6spd, Suspension pkg and ABS. That's going to be the "race" version that'll be the rare one to find (and $$ ) here in a few years.. Kinda liek the "R" models or the 99-sport are right now..
