I had one of those amps...good solid kenwood amp. Runs a system nicely. I needed more power though...now I have a JL 500/5 which rocks! I do love kenwood amps though. I sold mine on ebay.

I think it's RMS vs Peak watts
I think it's RMS vs Peak watts
I'm well aware. Just pointing out that he was equating the RMS power per channel to the totaly max power and of coarse they are not equivalent. Its a nice little, whole system amp, but well shy of 800 watts in any measurement.
The amps potential is really maximized when its 4 channels are bridged to 2 channels to run a set of front components.
Something else to keep in mind is that small 5 channels like these really don't exist anymore. Kenwood and Alpine each had one and they are both great but for somereason 4 years ago, each were discontinued andnever replaced. There are certainly 5 channel amps still available but they are usualy $400 and up

I got the same 280W you did. The reason I posted it that way was that was how I saw it listed on kenwoods website.....800W max.... I'm not THAT bad at math...

so......does anyone wanna buy it? It's a good clean amp. Just dont want it when I have so many other projects going on right now.
For anyone out there that wants a cheap solution for running a nice set of front components and a mild sub, this is the amp for you. Bridge the 4 channel down to 2 for the components and slap on a 10" 4 ohm sub and your done.

i have no clue what you just said but it sounded good so, rock on.
Is that a fair price I'm asking 1sty??
Its not bad. It will probably move a little better at $175+ shipping.

yeah I figure it'll be $10-15 to ship it properly packaged with insurance.....so $200shipped is pretty close.
