I am thinking about buying a protege. I am just wondering if an mp3 has more aftermarket parts that other proteges. Also is the mp3 a reliable car that doesnt seem to have any major problems with it.

MP3 is exactly the same as a protege in terms of aftermarket support, as for reliable, yes, it is quite reliable as most of the proteges are. Few problems here and there (clunk) but nothing really major.

definitly get an mp3 if u can, they look so nice, the only difference perfomance wise between a regular protege and the mp3 is the ECU and intake manifold

well yea for 01 it was a body kit, but only the side skirts and the rear bumper, but thats all, then when they made the p5 they put the same front on it, idk about the rear or skirts, but mayb they the same.... idk. wish they didnt do that so the mp3 could have been WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY MORE SPECIAL! LOL

The front bumper and sides are the same on the MP3, P5, and 03 MSP. P5 have differnent rear skirts from the other Proteges. Things different from 03.5 MSP to 03 MSP/MP3 are the front/rear skirts and wing.
