Hi All!

After 77,000 miles of driving (and shifting), my shift knob has some significant wear. I was hoping that someone out there replaced their shift knob early on and saved it. If so, I would be interested in buying it from you - only if it is in mint, like new condition.

Let me know.

wow you must've really worked your shift knob...the Nardi wood knob in my miata is only having the laminate chip a little, and that car has about 105000 miles

The MP3 knob had this weird silver colored leather that kind of flakes off. It looks ugly.

Yeah, my knob flaked off badly. I bought the kartboy short shifter and knob. I didn't think I'd like it because it was metal and plain, but now I love it. I definitely recommend it, but it won't fit on the stock mp3 shifter. You need the kartboy shifter. Just my 2 cents.

it looks more of a black and more of a gold color than a silver?

Fine. It's mostly black, but there are side panels that have a "metallic" look to them. Gold, silver, titanium, whatever color it is, it's flaking off.
